So, I've been seeing more and more about AI companions online. It's got me wondering if anyone has actually tried them out and just how good they actually are? Like, I get the tech is improving a lot, but can they really replicate any kind of meaningful interaction? I'm not necessarily looking for a replacement for real-life relationships, but I'm curious to know if they are even remotely close to feeling like real companionship. It's a strange new world for sure, and I'm trying to wrap my head around the idea. What experiences have people had?
